In 2014, Coffee Crisp celebrated 75 years.
The much-loved Canadian chocolate bar, Coffee Crisp, developed in the 1938 as a coffee version of Bicrisp (originally Rowntree's Wafer Crisp made in the United Kingdom). Nestle acquired Rowntree in 1988, including its Toronto factory where Coffee Crisp is made with 100% sustainably sourced cocoa. It's generally unavailable outside Canada unless brought in by import companies. Try this Coffee Crisp cake recipe.
