    Joggins Fossil Centre, Joggins, NS

    The Joggins Fossil Centre is situated on a reclaimed coal mine site overlooking the Joggins Fossil Cliffs. The Centre features fossil specimens (over 195 species found), and exhibits about coal mining history. Designated as a World Heritage Site in 2008, it’s described as the “Coal-Age Galapagos”.
